it means the lip gloss has an spf or suncreen protection to prevent your lips from uv rays. they call it skin cancer.. so to protect your skin on skin cancer a lot of products put SPF on it. like the lipgloss you are talking about... some products are SPF 10, SPF 15, SPF 20 or more. the more is much better..Lip gloss prevents skin cancer?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? *faints*?
Some lip gloss has like spf in it, and that can prevent your lips from getting sunburnt (which happpens)
And I guess since an increase in unprotected sun exposure leads to skin cancer
People just assume since ur lip gloss has spf it can protect agaisnt skin cancer
